Will there be a Car Boot Fair this Sunday?
If the weather permits, there will be a Car Boot Fair every Sunday from early April 2009, through to the Autumn.

If we know in advance that the Car Boor Fair is likley to be called off because of bad weather, or for any other reason, we will give notice of this on the Car Boot Fairs page.

What are the fees for Sellers?


Cars £12   -   Trailers +£5   -   Vans From £17

Are there any fees for Buyers?
There's a charge of £1 for off-road parking. The £1 will be collected on your
WAY OUT of Apps Court Farm. This is to control traffic flow..

Can I book my pitch in advance?
No. Pitches are allocated on a first come first served basis. It's best to arrive early.

What time will buyers be allowed in?
Buyers will be allowed in at 8 am.

Do I need to bring my own table(s)?
Yes. You have to provide all your own equipment.

What can I sell?
Nearly everything can be sold at a car boot. Toys, books, clothes, paintings, crockery, bikes, shoes, LPs, furniture, sports equipment, garden tools, etc.

Is there anything I can not sell?
Yes there is. Any banned substances, alcohol, weapons, dangerous objects or illegal or copied merchandise CAN NOT BE SOLD!. There may be Police on site during the day so anyone caught with these items could face criminal charges.

What price should I charge?
You decide the prices but remember people are out for a bargain so really expensive items may not be that popular.

Is it just cars that are allowed?
No. Vans up to transit size are allowed, as are cars with a trailer.

What time does the Car Boot Sale open?
For Sellers (Booters) the gates will open at 7am. The general public will be allowed to enter from 8 am.


What time will it finish?
There is no set closing time. For health and safety reasons, Seller's vehicles leaving the site at any time, but especially when there are still Buyers on site, must drive very carefully.


Will there be any catering facilities available on the day?
Yes. There are concessionary Hot Food and Drinks available on site.
No other vendors of food and or drink are permitted.

Will there be toilet facilities at the event?
Yes. There will be plenty of toilets on site, including facilities for the disabled.

Is there disabled access/facilities?
There are disabled toilet facilities on site. The farm is accessible for wheel
chairs but please be aware that the ground may be uneven in places.

Is there parking available if you are just attending the event and not
holding a car boot stall?

Yes. There is plenty of space for parking. There's a charge of £1 for parking. The £1 will be collected on your way out of APPS COURT FARM. This is to control traffic flow.

Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome at the event but must be kept on a secure lead at all times. We ask dog owners to respect other visitors and the venue by clearing up after their pets. Dogs must not be left in cars.
