Apps Court Farm is
a large, flat, grassed, obstruction free open area situated at the Sunbury
Lock visual reporting point, at the junctions of H9 and H3.

for use is required for ALL operations to the site. The

The landing and take off area is orientated East to West
and is sufficiently large to cover clear area operations
for all helicopter types (delineated by red box on aerial
photo).
Once an approach has been made, the touch down area is adjacent
to the windsock.
Pilots are requested to avoid overflight of any properties
to the North of the river Thames unless established on H9.
Those operators who are not “self
certifying” with respect to landing sites within the
London Control Zone are reminded to seek permission to use
the site from their respective CAA Flight Ops Inspector
or the GA Department of the CAA (01293
573528).

Pilots are reminded that if Heathrow is on “Easterly
Operations” then all arrivals and departures will
be via H9. No departures are permitted until the pilot has
established communications with either the Heathrow Special
or Thames Radar Controller via RT or Telephone.
